Keeping composure12/25/2023 Hey, OP! I just wanted to say I’ve been working on this same exact thing for a about a month now. As i can give you more advice, I feel like I have already typed lot and that your experiences are different from mine. All these thoughts that are rushing into you, all the aggressive things you can say, are they worth it? Is it a matter of standing up for yourself? Is it things you feel like saying, but know you shouldn’t because you can irreversibly ruin relationships? Are you saying it to prove yourself to the person? By taking deep breaths, for me, helps me clear my thoughts and take the appropriate response. What do I do? If something is about to “spark you off” I would start by taking deep breaths. Some people in this world will just be aggressive, arrogant, rude, etc (not saying your any of this) to random people or their significant people in their lives and not bat a eye but it appears to me that you are aware of your actions and that you do not like when you get over the edge and in a sense: “rage”. X Research source Try a coloring app, which could be very relaxing.For starters, its extremely crucial and good that you are self aware or able to reflect on incidences in which you “overreacted” or necessarily not even overreacted but as you stated gets you heated.
